Miss Canada International 2003, Lorenza Sammarelli; Miss Canada International 2009, Catherine Thomas; Miss Canada International 2010, Bridget Nickerson and Miss Canada International 2012, Anna Dell all met up in Vancouver to launch the Teddy Bears of Hope for Haiti project.  They helped fill a transport truck full of teddies to kick off the 2012 campaign which will see Teddy Bears collected for the children of Haiti.

The Williams Lake Thompson Rivers University Student Council has taken on the TBoH BC Challenge and included Anna in the grand opening of the Student Food Bank and Teddy Bears of Hope Drop-off Location complete with a ribbon cutting ceremony and followed by delivering specially decorated cookies to students to help raise awareness of breast cancer.

Miss Ontario and Miss Teen Kitchener both volunteered at the CN Tower Climb for United Way. They met with climbers before their climbs and were on hand at the top to congratulate and encourage them. Thanks for helping out!

The Chocolate Ball at the Palais Royale Toronto assembled chocolate lovers to experience one of the most elegant and lavish events in the area with proceeds to benifit Prostate and Breast Cancer Initiatives.

Among the chocolate lovers were VIP guests Miss Teen Canada Int'l Runner Up Nikita Singh and Miss Canada Int'l Runner Up Melanie Williamson.

Anna toured various elementary and high schools while throughout the community of 100 Mile House with Mayor Mitch Campsall giving Teddy Bears of Hope Presentations and issuing the challenge to her home province to collect as many Teddies and Toonies as possible.

When Morris and Annie Zeidman started The Scott Mission in 1941, they told themselves they would serve the needs of the poor and lost in the community as long as God provided the means.

Now, after 68 years, it is evident that God has blessed the Mission in every way. The destitute continue to find food, shelter and clothing. The abandoned find the courage to forgive. The downcast find the strength to restore broken relationships and achieve their dreams. The lonely find the perfect friend in Jesus.
